But I digress...I think I am totally in love with thinking of MCB as a magazine so tell me, do you like the latest Style Book offering? I have included snippets from some of my favourite poets such as Pablo Neruda, Eavan Bowland and Derek Mahon. There are also not one but 2 uniquely covet-able bag featured so get clicking on that magazine! BTW I shall be announcing the winner of my huge give-away tomorrow :)

I get what you mean with the Primark thing. I study Retail Buying and at the moment we're looking at the social and environmental effects of retailing, and it makes me feel bad sometimes that I go into Primark.
ReplyDeleteHi Promise, I hear you on that. I think the effects you mention are some of the main driver for development of my own micro label MOSHI LASHI. I think given the choice, people want to know the total production history of their apparel and more than that, they are prepared to pay a fair price to all involved.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining in with the convo. Hope you enjoyed the images xx
Hey Mulika! Girl, coral looks absolutely divine on your gorgeous skin! This outfit is so cute and your legs go on FOR-E-VER!!! and of course, I love those sandals.
ReplyDeleteLove the Style Book concept. Very clever!
you look great xoxo
ReplyDeleteClothes cost money, but style is priceless. Your style is certainly priceless and lovely in these pictures. Lovely shirt!

Hi Ife,
ReplyDeleteThank girl! I was actively searching for complimentary tones of the like so to find it so cheap - I just had to snap it up :)
Morining Maphi, Thanks for popping in. I am glad you enjoyed my latest offering :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great start to the week!
John, you are so right. In comparison to many outfits I have been known to get excited about, this was cheap as chips but I felt just as stylish as if I was head to toe in Victoria Beckham! lol (Must say I actually don't know what that feels like....)
ReplyDeleteYou are serious about those shoes. Lovely photographs. Love your hair ~ Have a wonderful day ~ xox Alexandra
ReplyDeleteThank you Alexandra :) After a month in turbans, it is nice to re-acquaint myself with the hair!
ReplyDeleteYour makeup is beautiful, that lipstick is very pretty. Details please! Great photos
ReplyDeletebesos,lynn
Hi Lynn, As I hardly use such strong colours I did think to include details...The lipstick is MUDSLIDE 7 by Collection 2000, a cheap drug-store brand over here. If you can't located it, I can pop one in the post to you xx
ReplyDeleteHi Mulika,
ReplyDeleteI do like the idea of extending your blog into an online magazine. From the links I've seen on FBFF, I think it's a great adventure to pursue.
Thanks for your thought on that! The more I experiment with the form, the more I fall in love with the slickness. It would also mean I could feature material, other creatives and bloggers that I get excited :)
ReplyDeleteYou are indeed a uberbabe!
ReplyDelete...and I loved your essay. Brevity be damned. If you've got something to say, I want to hear all of it!
Ahhh I do enjoy wearing a Primark Australian equivalent and having someone mistake it for something else, more expensive... amuses me greatly.
You are seriously beautiful. This colour is divine on you... I'm a fan for life!
I have ishoes too... :D
Dusk
great bag! love it

P&P
Dusk, would that Australian label be Supre by any chance. If so, I love their stuff! I stumbled upon it on line and I gather it is cheap as chips out there.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words. The surprise that blogging brings are the magical ones you stumble upon. You strike me as great :)
P&P, I wish I could claim the bag(s) for myself but they belong to a friend that was out with us. I was seriously lusting after them and had to picture them. Glad you liked it :)
