We are experiencing yet another bank holiday in the UK and I feel these pictures perfectly capture the mood of fun and frivolity of having time on your hands to play. Debbie Harry popped in for a short moment in spirit very early on in this shoot and for a short minute I was that girl in the band. But then the children BBC presenter in me sprung to life.
Funnily enough, I was called in to read for the role of Josie in Balamory. It would have been a great job to bag espcially as my daughter was at that age a religious viewer but I guess I just wasn't mellow or yellow enough! I still think I would make a great kiddie presenter because at times my energy levels scare me! Do you like the pictures. Hubby is loving playing around with the sets we are putting out and I hope we have more fans than not!
Topshop Skirt / Threadless T-Shirt / Yello Dr Martens
Awesome outfit - I love the super sunshiny happy colours and the cute printed t. Also love your photoshopping efforts - I totally need to learn some of these mad skills!
ReplyDeleteI could totally see you as co presenter on Yo Gabba Gabba (do you get that over there? It's a bizarrely cool psychedelic American kids show - you should goggle it if you don't know what I'm talking about, you'd be PERFECT on it!).
Hope you are enjoying your consecutive long weekends. You look gorgeous!

Hey Dom! Thank you :) You are the first to mention it. I love it too! And yes, happy & stylish are not necessarily incongruent with a blog more devoted to edgier offerings.

You're quite the fashionable ray of sunshine here. :) However, you're a fashionable ray of sunshine with a tough pair of Dr. Martens boots. Cool stuff!
